Leading Research Firm Uses Data Enhancement Service to Ensure High-Quality Feedback for Customers
BOSTON, MA–(Marketwired – Apr 16, 2014) – Experian Data Quality, a part of Experian Marketing Services and a leading provider of data quality software and services, today announced that McMillion Research, a premier online panel company, will use Experian Data Quality data enhancement and data quality services to ensure the quality of online panelists. Previously, Experian Data Quality has verified existing panelists within the research firm’s database, and McMillion now also will leverage the service to check all new panelists as they sign up.
“We need to ensure the quality of our data during the survey process and provide our customers with the best results possible,” said Jay Mace, senior vice president at McMillion Research. “By doing this additional check with Experian Data Quality, we instantly can screen panelists as they join and follow up if there is reason to believe the individual should not be included in the panel. This gives our customers confidence that our Mindfield Online™ panel has been verified.”
Experian Data Quality address verification will be used to confirm that contact details are entered accurately, and data enhancement will assess the likelihood of contacting a specific individual using the contact information provided. The check is done in real time, allowing all panelists to be screened fully before they take part in research.
“Data quality tools play a key role in validating customer information as it is entered, but data enhancement allows our customers to have better insight on the individuals they engage with,” said Thomas Schutz, general manager, Experian Data Quality. “By verifying that an individual can be reached using the contact information provided, businesses can help alleviate fraud and also guarantee they are able to engage with individuals in the future.”
