2013’s three most popular ESOMAR webinars as measured by attendance were produced by SSI. Topics included Best Practices for International Research, Online Questionnaire Design, and Privacy and Data Protection in the Digital Age.
The top-ranked webinar was presented in March by SSI Managing Director, Europe, Michel Guidi whose topic was: International Research: Three Best Practices and Three Mistakes to Avoid.
The second most popular ESOMAR webinar was by SSI Managing Director, Benelux, Fieke Kreischer, who co-presented with research company InSites Consulting in October on The Triangle of Survey Design: Engaging Respondents, Clients and Researchers for Richer Data. During this webinar, the two presenters each shared their perspective on what it takes to achieve high-quality research results online.
Ashlin Quirk, SSI General Counsel and Kristin Cavallaro, Knowledge Specialist, took the third spot with their May webinar on Privacy and Data Protection in the Digital Age.
“ESOMAR was delighted to see that SSI provided such engaging content for our webinars. Through ESOMAR-sponsored webinars and other educational programs, our membership has come to expect quality content in everything we do,” said Finn Raben, Director General at ESOMAR. “We are thrilled that the content SSI shared in its webinars this year was so popular with the global research community we serve. As we plan our 2014 webinar schedule, we look forward very much to working with SSI and other members on new, engaging content.”
In addition to the three ESOMAR webinars, SSI presented seven other webinars in 2013 and attracted more than 5,500 registrations. The audience spanned research companies, advertising agencies, government, academia and researchers from a wide variety of business sectors.
“We are delighted with the success of SSI’s webinar program this year,” said SSI President and CEO Chris Fanning. “It is gratifying that the educational content we provide has found such an enthusiastic audience and we’re especially pleased that the three we hosted with ESOMAR took the top three spots. SSI’s global focus is clearly matching the interests of ESOMAR’s international membership.”
SSI is continuing its program of free webinars, sharing SSI research and best practices with the research industry. In SSI’s first webinar of 2014, on January 30, Senior Methodologist Keith Phillips will reveal questionnaire quality control best practices. Register to attend.
